*ABA environments are pockets of morphology that prohibit noncontiguous suppletion, and which show promise to generativists as a diagnostic for the presence syntactic hierarchical structure. In particular, it identifies Lower Arrernte (Pama-Nyungan) nonsingular pronouns an AAB-permissive environment. Morphological contiguity in results from manner kintactic features expressing kinship generation shared patrimoiety must always be bundled together at same node co-triggers suppletion within realizational morphology. Crucially, this study contradicts earlier accounts relevant paradigms terms how categories ordered by markedness: argues agnatic-harmonic (i.e., refer groups all members belong even-numbered generations) most representationally complex. It emerges morphological nonsingulars patterns against containment relationship observed comparative with bundling English ablaut.
